Recently completed this game, great atmosphere, voiceovers and graphically stunning. I found the story a bit strange but the idea was original and that made me like it even more.

'Alan Wake' implements the Havok engine. The same engine was used for Assassin's Creed 2 and Halo 3. BTW this game is probably in the top ten campaign modes. It's just that awesome!

its d best combo of lighting, character modelling, imagination & script. d best comic feel output by autodekstop in 3d.

I guess they use the "Alan Wake Engine". Figures, to get that custom "look", make your own engine, I guess.
