Hello I would just like to say this about Autodesk, Any company that denies a customer the right to use software which they have legally bought from them in good faith ie xsi v7 ie:no more licence activations after August 1st 2011 when it was owned by Avid, who i must point out had a much better and more professional level of customer service than these people that seem to be in charge of Autodesk.

Lets face it, the only reason they bought Softimage was because of the new ice technology and it seems to me that they are determined to buy out any company that develops software that is better than the ones they currently own. I just hope the US govt steps in and puts a limit on their aquisition of all hi-end 3d software. Its just ridiculous that they own the top 3 programs, Max, Maya and now Softimage XSI. I mean, where will it stop, Cinema4d, Houdini, Lightwave , Modo ,Zbrush, Mabe even Rhino etc.

All i can say is thank god i bought Foundation v5 from Avid before Autodesk got their hands on it.
I will use this program to recover my 2000 odd Australian dollar investment and then i will make damn sure in the future that i NEVER EVER use an Autodesk Product ever again. And i will advise as many of my business associates to do the same.

Dear Autodesk;

Please buy Chaos Group, and put all of their stuff in your stuff, starting with Phoenix FD.
