Some folks are using beta Honeycomb on the Flyer, and you can see from some YouTube vids that the stylus can control the interface. I’m hoping that that means that it can control Sketchbook Pro with pressure sensitivity. Anybody tried this yet or have a link?

Enrico, for current version of Gingerbread / Sense, you are correct. I’m hoping the not-yet-released Honeycomb will remedy the problem.

Well, after 7 months, it looks like we might finally be getting a Flyer that works… at least that’s the story. (The 3G Flyers are first in line… us WiFi will get it “soon” which probably means Jan or Feb).

Now, the question I have is: Has anyone tried an N-trig pen with Honeycomb and Sketchbook? Does it work?  If it does, does it (Here’s me hoping) have pressure sensitivity?  It took 7 months to go to Honeycomb… I’m guessing I’ll have to wait until 2013 for Ice Cream Sandwich if ever…

Okay, my Flyer has updated to Honeycomb. I went ahead and purchased SKPro and discovered that it has pressure sensitivity! The pen works, it works beautifully! This was what I wanted a long time ago! :)

So, fellow Flyers, go update to Honeycomb and have at it! We are in business! :D

Oh yeah! I got my OTA update this morning. SKPro is working nicely, and I’m happy to say palm rejection is just fine. Also, you can use Skitch in Evernote with the stylus… it is actually sort of useful now.

I’ve noticed some slight glitchiness overall in the OS which I hope will get straightened out in the future--it’s not as buttery smooth as the lastest version of Gingerbread, but the new capability of the pen is outstanding… this is the ONLY 7” tablet worth buying. I think folks can still pick them up for $300 at Sprint… don’t wait too long!
