Hi,
I am just getting into using showcase I have been using Autocad for years and am now using showcase for my Customer presentations.
I am looking at upgrading my graphics card and the ooptions are between an NVIDIA 1800 or a NVIDIA 4000
Now on the face of it you would say go for the 4000 bigger is better and it is newer architecture but is the preformance boost I will get worth the extra Money?
I need help deciding and then (assuming the 4000 is the winner)convincing Our Companys Accountant that the 4000 would be worth the leap in cost.
If it helps out I am usualy doing large models with buildings and complex smooth surfaces.

Thank you in avance

I am not really sure of how much performance gain will the 4000 give.I am myself eying for a gfx which runs showcase smoother than what my card does right now.I might buy a gtx 460 or an higher end card in the same line.I have heard the gtx dx 11 series are the most VFM cards right now in the market for such real time rendering engines.
