Dear,

In visualisation mode, the curves are not “soft”. In “option”, “performance and quality”, “Hardware rendering”, I locked the display quality to the maximum.

Is there a solution to improve the quality?

Thanks,

What is the source of your model data?  It sounds like the problem you have is in the quality of the tessellation.  If it is an FBX file, then there is not much that can be done about it since it is tessellated by the exporting application and not by Showcase.  If you are importing an IPT or DWG file (or other CAD data), then you can choose different conversion settings in the Import Status dialog to give you the best curve for your model.

I import wire from Alias. On some models it works well, but on others, it is not working...I don’t know what could be the problem. The size of the model? Do I have to export the alias model?

I use Showcase to create images in a fast way, to understand the shape of the product, and imagine how it will be. I don’t want to have an amazing render, but I need to see the right curves…

Thanks

What Conversion Setting are you using?  You might want to try different ones. For example, if it is the small parts that look badly, try the 003-small-details script.
