Hey guys,
maybe i’m missing something but how can i customize the
tessellation of my imported STEP file?
Although i have checked the highest LOD-High - my wheel / rim
is not smooth enough - especially the outer circle seems not round enough
for my needs.
I have searched the whole help doc, but there are no sliders or options
to increase the tessellation when exporting my data to FBX.
Any hellp on that is greatly appreciated!

urgent ... so sorry for my late answer !
Showcase tesselation are there :
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Showcase 2012\support\TessellationSettings
To creat your own :
Copy an existing one (006-1LOD-High.j for example)
modify it with notepad (or blocnote)
modify this parameter : edit tessellationsettings adaptHigh chorddeviation 0.1
something like it edit tessellationsettings adaptHigh chorddeviation 0.00001 is very important tesselatin
I put a file in attachement , just copy it in this folder :
C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Showcase 2012\support\TessellationSettings\
