Hi,
I’m new to showcase and I’ve been experimenting with some of my models built mostly with Rhinoceros. I found that exporting as fbx or Autocad format works best in terms of keeping the layer and object names once in showcase. Any other format supported by Showcase and available in Rhino loses the structure.
However, one thing I cannot seem to be able to do is extract ‘patches’ or parts of an object. When the object turns purple and click on it, no parts of any of the objects are selectable.
So I’m unable to reverse normals or extract part of the object as new objects.
Is this because the objects are meshes and not solids when imported?
Your help would be much appreciated
