Hi!

Have a potential crisis at the mo, I’ve been merrily woring on a new project in 2012 Showcase but our IT guy is unable to get 2012 to display in Stereo (anyone got any ideas why, he’s done everything he’s supposed to have, ie installed plugin etc), our clients are in first thing tomorrow morning and I can’t get my file to backsave to 2011 so I can show it to them in stereo using 2011.

As always, all advice very gratefully received!

Kelly

Thanks, yeah I tried opening up the 2012 file regardless, got a message saying that it might cause instability but it didn’t let me open the file to see.  Very frustrating, I can’t find anything on this on the web, just lots of places selling Showcase.  Do we have any expert users out there yet or is the software too new for that?

The IT guy is still working on getting the stereo to work in 2012, I’ll post a question on that separately as I wasn’t too clear on it above…

Unfortunately Showcase does not support forward compatibility of scene files.
Showcase also changed how files are being stored in 2012, which makes it impossible to get files back into 2011.
