Hi,
I have a problem,
I created a low poly mesh in maya with the uv map, after that i exported this mesh as an OBJ File to Mudbox. In Mudbox i added some details. In the next step i want to create a Displacement map.
Mudbox starts to bake the map but at the point “edge bleeding” mudbox is getting freeze
could anybody help me?

check your uv’s. Make sure none are overlapping.
Take it or leave it

Your bottom UV object looks a little too close to the bottom. You want to leave just a little bit more room than that. I would add an extra couple of pixels just to be safe. Also, make sure that none of your normals are facing the wrong way. If you are using maya, turn of two-sided lighting to do a quick check.

Another thing that might be causing problems is the model scale. I had that this weekend. Check it against one of the default models. Mine was about 100 times smaller and it refused to bake, despite clean UVs. Although it locked up at the Calculating Normals stage rather than Edge Bleed, which does suggest that it’s hitting the Uv boundaries. Worth checking though.
