Hi everyone,

I want to introduce the UI Builder, tool for builder UI in MoBU. This version purpose for Python users first of all. It has possibility to build tool with regions, visual components and events inside the UI Builder!

You can download it on my blog - http://neill3d.com/ui-builder-0-4b-released?langswitch_lang=en

At the moment it’s not a stable version. But if your interested, try it.

The new version of the editor is now available. There are two new components, changes have also occurred in exports to the C + + format for OpenReality.

Changes

- separate menu for export to Python and C + +
- added a reset mode of drawing regions by clicking the right mouse button
- context menu, right-click in the select mode
- multiple selection, Shift + LMB – add an element, Alt + LBM – remove an element from selection. To move multiple selection should hold the Shift key
- preview mode from the context menu, exit by clicking the right mouse button
- component FBView
- component FBContainer
- Coordinate snapping step. Set through the items in the menu Edit.
- export regions of visual components, variables, events to the c + + Open Reality format

Fixed bugs:
- fixed loading variables from the text file (*.ui)

Now the editor has become even more convenient to use.
You can download it from my blog

Very cool. This is really going down the right track. I’ve been playing with this tool to check it out over the last couple of releases, it can be a big timesaver. Thanks for adding the export to .py right away instead of a text file.

just checked out this release, and I’m seeing quite a bit of instability in the preview option. If I create a region, immediately assign a widget to it, then hit preview I get a crash. If I create, then go back to select to assign the widget, less likely to crash.

Keep up the good work!

Hi,

thank you for response. It’s quite hard for me to make stable release version, cause I don’t have any testers. When I use UIBuilder, I make all operations in my one-way manner, I know how to get the result quickly and there are not any craches.

That is the reason why dev should not test his work ;)

BTW. Good work!

I have updated UIBuilder. Not all problems with preview mode are solved, but now It’s much stable.
