Hi,

It depends what version of Vicon software you are streaming from.  If you use IQ then MB7.5 and the ‘Gusport’ plug-in you have is the only option.  I’ve tried using it in 7.5r2, and although it’s functional it is not as stable (So no use on 10h long capture sessions).  If you use ‘Blade’ there is a more recent MB plug-in, which runs under 2009, 2010, and probably 2011 - however this is not backward compatible with IQ.  I would strongly advise Against ‘upgrading’ to Blade as the data it produces is nowhere near the quality available from IQ (IMO).

To combat this problem I’m presently writing an Optical Device Plug-in, which will communicate with IQ and run under MB 2010 (and presumably 2011 and onwards).

Cheers,

Rich

There is a plugin for MB2010 and MB2011, though the name has been changed from GusPort to Vicon Stream.  To my knowledge it only streams data from Blade1.7.

Try searching http://www.vicon.com/support/ for more info on the Vicon Stream plugin.

It seems that IKienma is a great tool. I´ll try to use it.

Thanks.
