Character hip Y translation not matching actor

I’m having trouble getting the hips, and the torso overall, on our character, to have the same amount of Y translation or “bounce” that the actor w/mocap data has on it. Our character just feels very flat, not getting much up and down movement from the hips. I’ve tried adjusting the actor’s relationship on the markers and gone through the character settings, but there doesn’t seem to be anything that tells the hips to match the actor hips. Any ideas? Thanks.
