Morning guys, in need of some help in MB 7.5

I’ve just characterized a character in MB and set up IK Dampening (chain I.K) on two hoodie tassels using a relation constraint as below (image attached)

So now I have a kind of auto secondary motion on the tassels - But - Im wanting them to avoid cutting through into the body when doing more dynamic movement and ive noticed in the Asset Browser under the Properties tab in the drop down where it asks for a type, if you choose ALL TYPE, your’ll see a lot of options below, one including Degrees Of Freedom (Image attached)

Now could someone enlighten me and let me know if I could use this to stop the cutting into the body? or would it just be a case of hand animating it?

Thanks in advance

James

Idea with DOF should work, but rather translation DOF I would use rotational DOF to limit rotation freedom. Set it for node’s that makes tassels swing (propably first Chain IK joint).
Cheers!
