Hi,
I am new to motionbuilder and have a problem....yay…
I am bringing in a character that I have modeled, rigged and skinned in 3D Max.
Everything goes fine and I characterize him and give him a control rig input.
The thing is that only the rig (skeleton) moves fine but the skinning is not active (does not move along with the bones)..Have I done something wrong or is it something very simple I have not activated?

well, it seemed to have something to do with the turbo smooth modifier that I had on it...I took it off and it went away...But something tells me that was not exactly it.

i think you might have to have the skin modifier at the top of the stack in max before you export to FBX - and double check your export settings as well, max 9 to mb 7.5 has lots of options
