Hey, I just have some questions for someone experienced with the character setup in MB. I was just wondering how the automated character setup was? Does it take care of the entire rig without me having to worry about weighting the character? And can this rig be exported for use in Maya also? Thanks, I appreciate any input on this.

You have to build up the skeleton and do all the skinning and weighting in your 3D Software as usual.
The MB Rig is a Full Body IK Rig as it is used in Maya too. You can´t use the rig created in MB anywhere else. You can only import the skinned Character, rig and animate it, plot the animation to the bones and export this animation data back to your original model in your favourite 3D Tool.
