I’m having a problem where if I rotate the Foot Effector my character’s knee also rotates and deforms.  I only want the deformation to happen at the ankle and not affect the knee at all.  I have the reach T/R at 100 for the Foot Effector, and it still happens if I pin the knee in translate and rotate.  Am I missing something here?  Do I have to setup degrees of freedom or something on the knee joint, or the knee effector, to prevent this?

Thanks for the help.

Use rotation limits on your knee joints and set the rotation order so that your main axis is the last calculated.

ie if your knee rotates on the x axis then set rotation limits on axes y and z, and set your rotation order to either euler ZYX or euler YZX.

Actually, you should go to; Character Settings/Modifiers/Roll Extraction/Left Leg RollMode.
Check the box and set the slider below to 100.

Did you actually get this to work?
I just tried and it doesn’t do anything.

Maybe I am missing something?

Could you post a screenshot with your knee bone selected, your manipulator set to local rotation mode and your window showing character roll modifier settings? Thanks.
