mbulder 2012 needs blendshapes?

When I prepare my character, should I keep all blendshapes inside the file to `send it back to maya`?
I have made a character with bs ,then i deleted my bs faces ,after all ok i wanted to plot everything from MBuilder, but whatever i did ,face animations not coming back..
