Hi avt5000,
You should check the following link for information on certified hardware and drivers for MotionBuilder-
Autodesk MotionBuilder – Certified Hardware-
http://www.autodesk.com/motionbuilder-hardware
There is a section covering tablets-
For MotionBuilder 2012- official certifications aren’t yet released. For MotionBuilder 2011, the Wacom Bamboo is not listed as certified- which means that the qualifications team have not tested with the hardware.
As the tablet is not certified, it means that it is not officially supported. There are a couple of other user posts on the forums around non-certified tablets-

Getting a tablet to work in MB

You may be able to get the tablet to work by modifying the settings or properties from the Wacom driver utility. As further suggestion, you should check the Wacom website for updated drivers and report the issue to the Wacom support team if you are continuing to see problem-

For the problem you are seeing in loading QuickTime MOV and AVI files as video in MotionBuilder, this may be due to codec support on 64-Bit. Many video codecs are not available in 64-Bit flavours. This means that they cannot be used within 64-Bit applications.
See following post from other user-

As workaround, you could install the 32-Bit version of MotionBuilder 2012. This would allow you to work with video encoded with codecs that are not available for 64-Bit. You can install the 32-Bit version of MotionBuilder on 64-Bit Operating System alongside the 64-Bit version.
Regards,
Lee
