Hey there,

This issue makes MB 2012 unusable for me right now.

I’m not getting the expected behavior from the actor when I activate it.

here’s my sets & result:

Steps:
1) import Range of motion C3D file
2) scale actor to match scale of optical data & align actor to markers
3) create marker set
4) assign mocap optical markers to specific parts of actor
5) In Navigator window, Actors, click on Snap button
6) Dialog says, “Recalculate Marker set offsets for Constraint::Actor
7) I click on TR

Results:  Actor now appears to be driving a car, and markers are not active.  Markerset, however, is created.

Expected result:  markerset would be created & mocap markers would drive actor.

Help please!

Also, I tried the process with a reference object & without:  same result.
Tried in story mode & not in story mode:  same result.

User error.
I forgot to add the hip markers.  Sorry about that.  Seems to work fine now.

Hi,

I’m having the exact same issue after many attemps. Could you please elaborate on how you fixed this? I’m using makers for the sternum, left shoulder, right shoulder, left elbow, right elbow, left wrist, right wrist, left hip, right hip, left knee, right knee, left ankle, right ankle.

I’ve moved my actor and rotated his limbs so the c3d optical data lines up very well. Assigned the mocap optical markers to specific parts of actor. Hit Snap...and BOOM!! Fetal pose!

Can you please help?
Thanks,
MJJG
