Hi,
I find that when I create a custom layout in MoBu 2012 that spans across 2 monitors, on relaunching the App, some windows stick to my layout, others snap back to the main window.
Anybody else having similar problems?

By the way, I don’t suppose there is a way to resize the Character Controls Panel (the dude in Tpose graphic for picking body parts etc.)
I really don’t think it needs to be that big.

Cheers!

Hi Kikillo,

I’m not aware of other user reports of issues with custom layouts when running with dual monitors.

If you’re continuing to see the issue and have active Subscription setup for MotionBuilder, you should report the issue to the MotionBuilder support team so that they can investigate the issue further. If you do not have active Subscription setup, you can also submit an automated issue report from within the software, from Help-Report a Problem.

For the Character Controls Window, the window cannot be resized by scaling the un-docked window. You can of course un-dock the window and place it on secondary monitor to give you more space on the main monitor for Viewer. If you’d like additional functionality added to the software to allow the Character Controls Window to be re-scaled- you should log a feature enhancement request with the team. You can submit an automated Feature Request from within the software, from the Help-Suggest a Feature link.

Best Regards,

Lee
