Clip sequence problems in the story track

Hey,

In the story track, when I add 2 different clips, the Match tool to match the direction and translation of the 2 added clips is not working. Help please

Can you post your file - or a demo file - which shows the problem?

Hey, many thanks for your reply, here are the problems:

I have installed MB in 2 machines, in the first one, the story track doesn’t seem to be working correct, I guess it is due to some graphic card issue. In the next machine, it seems to be correct except the Match toggle, it is not working when I add 2 different clips to match their directions.

Hi,

I had a few ideas…

Try using the same exact assets in both Motionbuilders. you might find that it’s the assets that are causing the inconsistency.

-Also in your youtube video, looks like you didn’t select a node or joint to ‘match’ up to. It won’t do anything if you are matching nothing.

swankie_frankie is right. While you clicked on the match button after the clip was selected, you didn’t choose a joint to match in the drop down manu in the top of the match dialog. When you try it again and select a joint to match, you’ll see the clip transform to match!
