We have a timecode generator hooked into our Vicon mocap system and are exporting .c3d’s with timecode embedded.  We can import those .c3d’s into MB 2010, 2011, and 2012 just fine.

We also have the same generator hooked into a pro tools setup that is recording audio with timecode embedded in it for what we hope will be easy lineup.  Unfortunately, none of the above versions of MB can import the audio that is generated ... but they will play using WinAmp, media player, or VLC (it’s just a .wav file).  MB throws out

Error: Unsupported audio format.

Audio without timecode comes in with no problem.

We just wanna sync up timecode with our .c3d’s ... has anyone had luck with this?

So quick update, I’ve confirmed with Autodesk that audio with timecode cannot be imported into MB.  I’ve logged a request with them for this feature.
