I’ve imported a BVH file and set it as the input to the control rig of my character.  I’ve done some modifications of the animation to the control rig on layer 1.  Now I’m ready to plot it to my character’s skeleton.  I choose “Plot Character”, skeleton, I leave the defaults chosen, “Constant Key Reducer”, “Smart Plot”.  But after the plot is done, the character and its skeleton are frozen on frame 1.  The control rig continues to animate with the inherited animation.  If I switch to “Ctrl Rig In” then the character goes back to having animation.  But of course I need to export this character, so I need the animation on the skeleton.

It’s not like this feature is broken, because if I take the character fresh and simply set a few key frames on the control rig (without importing a BVH file) and plot those to the skeleton, voila, it works fine.

Any ideas?

Robert N.
