Hi Landr,
OSX running Parallels or Bootcamp is not listed as an officially tested and supported operating system for MotionBuilder 2011:-
Autodesk MotionBuilder 2011

Note: Some of the other Autodesk 3D packages, including 3ds Max are supported on Parallels and Bootcamp-
Autodesk 3ds Max 2011
http://usa.autodesk.com/adsk/servlet/pc/index?siteID=123112&id=13571366
Although not officially supported, you may be able to run MotionBuilder 2011 through OSX Bootcamp or Parallels. There is some general information on setup and performance when running 3ds Max through Bootcamp/Parallels in the following FAQ that may be helpful
http://download.autodesk.com/us/3dsmax/documentation/3ds_Max_FAQ.pdf
You can download the 30-Day trial version of MotionBuilder 2011 if you need to test it out on your setup-

One would have thought that it would be easy to maintain Mac version parity now that Macs have intel inside.
No mac version since 7.5… heck, what hope is there if they can’t even get a decent Windows version out! MB 2011 is the buggiest and most unreliable piece of software I’ve used since the days of Animation Master 7!!
We had our team roll back from MB 2011 to 2010 at a great cost, wasted time converting files back to 2010 (with the buggy fbx converter)
Don’t bother downloading the 2011 demo, go straight to the 2010, unless you want to be in a world of hurt.

I almost have 2010 working via Parallels. UI loads up but doesn’t finish drawing and does not respond when I click the app. So close.
