I’m getting pretty comfortable in Motionbuilder with layering anmations “on top” of existing mocap.  But I’ve got to convert a walk cycle to a walking on a treadmill animation.

Killing the Z-axis translation of the hips is easy, but I don’t know how to kill the motion of the arms and lock them to the handles of the treadmill.  I tried “pinning’, but I’m doing something wrong, because pinning only seems to work if you’ve got no underlying animation driving the arms.

any advice much appreciated.

Robert N.
