Preferences/Saving/Incremental Backups/Keep X backup files
No matter what you select for the X variable, MB2011 keeps only 4 backups. (Thanks for lost work, Autodesk. Not the first time, not the last time I am sure.)
Anyone got this actually working, please?

EDIT: more testing done and it is even “funnier”:
Preferences/Saving/Incremental Backups/Save backup files to a specific path/
does not work at all when that path does not exist! Actually it is exactly the case should you choose to turn on the default “C:\Temp” option.

Same issue.

I thought there should be some kind of config file at MotionBuilder(install folder)/bin/confing to hack this setting but it seems there is no anything in connection with Saving preferences.

MB 2012 version might have solution for that :)
