I have a biped character in MotionBuilder 2010 that I want to edit the animation with Ragdoll so that it walks on a terrain I created that has Rigid Body on it.

My problem lies in the fact that I can’t get the Ragdoll to work when I activate Match Animation.
The ragdoll follows when I use the Activation setting: Passive, but then I can’t edit the animation using the Ragdoll Settings.

All Settings are default with Match Translation 1.00 and Match Rotation 1.00

I am certain I am just overlooking something simple, could anyone point me in the right direction?

I figured out the problem, it turned out that because I wasn’t granted permission to the Program Settings and Folders on the computer it wouldn’t work.

Please post more about your success/failure if you get a chance.
I’ve had limited luck getting the figure not to bounce all along the ground as they go.

Best of luck!
