If I create a mb scene, merge in an fbx file created from max with point cache geo in it everything works as expected. As soon as I save the motionbuilder file and re-open it. The geo doesn’t read the cache. I verified that the cache is listed under deformers in the navigator and the location is the same but the geo/model is in a default pose/not reading the cache. Anyone had this issue and know what I’m missing here?

SOLVED:
Apparently the scene file has to be in the same folder as the folder containing the point cache files.
