I noticed that after I installed MotionBuilder I got three successive entry point errors.  Something to the effect of missing update files.  I was wondering is there away to correct this.  I tried unistalling and reinstalling, as well as repairing through program unistall, but nothing has worked so far.  I think this might be a microsoft issue, but I’m not entirely sure.  Can anyone point me in the right direction?

Hi Graham,

The error sounds like it is due to a dll component not being registered correctly on install. Issues like this can be due to installing on non tested or qualified Operating System or issue in install of microsoft component(such as Visual Studio_.
You should do a google search for the error and refer to the posts below, one of which is around Visual Studio errors on startup after install on Win7:-

If the issue is ongoing and you have subscription setup, you should contact the Autodesk Support team for further assistance.

Best Regards,

Lee
