Hi,

when I plot animation to export it to Maya 2009, what I get is the skeleton with the animation only, but it doesn’t affect the model.

How to do please,, THANX

Hi Hamzannaba,

The animation should go across fine between MoBu -to- Maya if:

1. The naming of the skeletons are the same that you are transferring the animation From -To-.  This should be the case if the skeleton you are using originated in Maya originally.

2. The options in the FBX Importer for Maya are set correctly- for animation to transfer- you should choose option ‘Update elements’ and make sure Animation is selected for import.
This will update the animation on existing elements. If you choose option ‘Add’ on FBX import it will add duplicates of the skeleton in your Maya scene.

3. You should also make sure that you are using the latest version of FBX plugin for Maya. You can download this from the link below:-
