I have an animation with a skeleton nod (joint) as a character extension. On that joint there is also animated custom property.
If I load character animation with File-->Load Character Animation in CharacterControl window everything works fine - I get also custom property.

The problem starts when I just drag&drop clip into story window. I get complete animation, only without animated custom property on that joint. In Extension looks everything fine - Custom property is listed in Property Reference list - only without animation.

Anyone has any idea how to solve this issue?

Tnx, M.

Yes - same animation, same character and the custom property is listed in the extension… I have tried same procedure many times and always the same....

Workflow looks like this:
1) Open characterized model
2) Select CustomJoint add CustomProperty (Real)
3) add CharacterExtension
4) drag&drop CustomJoint into Extension
5) Select Refernece to extension
6) add CustomProperty to Extension
7) Save and Close
---
1) Open previous character (with Ext)
2) Create animation + animated CustomProperty
3) Plot whole scene
4) Save character animation
---
1) Open again same character
2) If I load previous anim with Load character animation it’s ok, if Iput clip into story works everything except CustomProperty :-(

Thank You M.

I can’t reproduce this useing the mia sample with servo and story in 2009...It is working for me.

it should be working. test it with MIA if you have the tutorial files and see if it works there.

Thanks for reply. I’ve tried same thing on Mia and it works as it should. I’ll check again our character.
