I there!:)
I unfortunataly can’t tell you where that tutorial is...:( but!
Maybe I could tell you how to create a “chain ik constraint”
Hopefully that will help, although you may alseady know all that but
here it is;
- Go in the Asset browser>template>elements
- Dble click on skeleton node
In the viewer, click 3 times( like you are creating a arm, which you kind of are;T)
- In the same folder Drag and drop a marker in the scene(could be a primitive, doesn’t matter, put it where the hand would be)
- Drag and drop a cube ( put it like where the elbow would be)
-Now Drag and Drop a plane in the viewer
-Back in the asset browser, in the constarint folder.
- Select >chainIK , drag and drop in vieser
- In the navigator>double click in your constraint
You now can see the constraint setting.
(Lock your view)
First JOint- drag and drop- skeleton node
End Joint-D&D-Skeleton node 2
Effector-D&D-Marker (hand)
Floor - D&D - plane
POle Vector Object-Cube (elbow)
Click on SNap!

Voila!
Now if you move your marker(hand) , it will move like a arm!
Hope that help!
CHeers:)

Awesome, just what I was looking for :) I wasn’t succeeding before due to two things:

- Dropping the chain IK constraint on top of an item (which is supposed to auto-fill one field) was for some reason not working
- I’m using the Maya shortcuts, and that makes alt+dragging the elements to fill the fields impossible. I don’t know how to do it using the Maya inputs, so I temporarily switched to MB input mode

Then it worked flawless, gratz :D
