I need to render 36inches x 48 inches at a decent res - minimum 200 DPI

I’m looking for some expert advice...I’ve done this a few years ago by tiling the cameras for output, but honestly I’ve forgotten exactly how to set things up. Is there any new efficient way to render out such a large size in Maya? It’s for a poster for a tradeshow. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated on this one - I’m using maya 2010

Thanks,
Emily.

Tile rendering is still your best bet in my opinion…

Thanks n8skow!
This is exactly what I need. Great reference, thanks very much for posting :) Last time i rendered i used the MR_tiling script, but that is for maya versions 6 - 7. This will be a great help - thanks again!

No problem.
I would think the tile rendering script you used before would still be applicable. Worth testing
