Difficult to know. It’s very close to being an advert, but doesn’t quite cross the line. The site is 3D/Max related so I suppose the Announcements forum would be better for it.
I’ll do some googling and see how many forum hits I get. Also keep an eye on this thread and see if the poster returns (probably to complain ;) ) or if it’s a “hit and run” post (in which case it’ll get moved or removed).

Well, I have to say, it looks like a pretty cool product. Though the link for buying it in the US seems to be broken. Otherwise they have some very thorough videos and samples. Will be looking into it for my workflow, so from my perspective it’s not spam.

Quite a few of their purchase links are broken - at least the two different countries I’ve tried. Hard to say if something is worth the hassle if you can’t even see a price.

Looking very much like spam - I’m finding similar threads on many, many CG related sites, very few replies, no followup posts.

Fair enough, thanks for coming back to the thread - proving at least that it’s not a hit-and-run post.
This forum is not, however, the right place for such a thread - that would be the News&Annoucement forum, so I will need to move it there.

As a confirmation, I mentioned the broken link to them via email, and actually got a call, from Germany, to answer some of my questions and say the links were fixed. He even offered to setup a personal web-x meeting to go over features and workflow. They seem like pretty good guys and obviously dedicated to customer service if they will make a call even before I am a customer.
Sure, it’s also a sales call, but a helpful one that answered a number of questions I had. Most companies won’t even bother with that. Anyway, I’m too busy to try their download right now, but will in a few weeks. I’ll report back my impressions.
One thing he pointed out was that you can render out a whole animated file with their real-time viewport rendering, which would be huge for pre-viz, at least for my workflow.
