I’m trying to figure out how to “carve” model the basic features (before the intricate decorative florals, just the acanthus or “main petals") of a Corinthian capital (rather than modeling each petal as separate objects, then using arrays). Assuming N-sided symmetry, is there a way to model just 1/Nth of the column, and have the petals reflected N times?

As for strategy, vertex pushing + mesh select - but that’s the brute force newbie method - advice on a better way to model a low-poly Corinthian capital?

i am not sure i understand but would it not be easier to model 1 of each leaf, then circular array around the column as instances the amount needed. that way you refine 1 and they all get updated.
