There seems to be an issue with the chamfer in editable poly in 2010, it doesn’t seem to be behaving as it has in previous versions. The chamfer isn’t always 45 degrees as you would expect.

Removed the images - they are in the thread linked to above. Duplicating them here just clutters up the display of this thead.

Using turbosmooth with isoline display and converting or collapsing to an editable mesh or poly doesn’t produce the correct geometry. Using meshsmooth with isoline display and converting produces the correct results though. I tested it in Max 2010 and 2009 and they both have the same results.

Hey there,

I can’t get Max Design 2010 to hold scene state information correctly.  Specifically, I can’t get it to hold the saved exposure value from the mr photographic exposure control in the environment roll out.  I am saving the environment settings in the scene state, but still when I restore them, they almost always come in with an exposure value from another scene state, or from somewhere else entirely.  Sometimes it even moves from having the ‘exposure value’ radio button checked to having the ‘photographic exposure’ button below it checked.

Here is the linke to the discussion post:

Thanks,
Cory
