When installing 3ds on Vista afterwards I attempted to transfer the license there, but even though at first it seemed to work, the license transfer utility showed the license as "broken" and wants me to transfer the license again but now it doesn't work on either machine. I tried saving out the transfer file again from the laptop but it just says the license has already been imported. Anyone got any hints to what I should do? Is there a setting, script or plug in to achive this? I do test renderings while modeling and I would like to save these tests more quickly than the way I have been doing the the past couple years. Is it possible to set it up so that it will auto save to a unique file after the rendering is done? + it would be great if it could name it with the date rendered so I can keep track of them over time. Well what happened? I'm using 3dmax2009 and since yesterday the environment panel simply disappeared. Never since the very 1st installment anything like this happened to me so I'm left in confusion. Where did it go? Fact is that if I click in the Rendering menu on Environment, nothing happens but the usual hook appears. Also need to mention that early Yesterday I installed Vray renderer(demo) for 3dsmax 2009. After that, no Environment Panel visible anymore! I'd like you guys for some ideas or to somewhat hint me to the right direction.
