1. At the login screen, choose the flame account.
2. Press Login.
Note that there is password on the Flame account by default.
3. Double-click the Flame icon on the Linux desktop.
4. Stop at the start-up screen.

To logout the system, right-click the Linux desktop and choose the option: Logout “flame<version>”.
1. Click the Project popup menu and choose create new project.
2. Click in the project Name field and type a name for your tutorial project.
3. Choose 1920 x 1080 HD 1080 as the default project resolution.
4. Choose Proxies Off in the proxy Options.
Note that you can choose to generate proxies if you need to increase the system interactivity.
A proxy is a smaller version of your original files.
5. Press Create Project.

1. Click the User popup menu and choose create new user.
2. Click in the user Name field and type your name.
3. Press Create User.

1. When you are ready to start Flame, press Start.
Next time you will start Flame to work on your exercises, choose your project and user.
2. If you get a message about the sync not being valid, just ignore it by pressing ESC.
3. When the startup is completed, click anywhere on the screen to access the menus.
