I'm trying to give you as much information as I'm allowed. This is certainly not intended to tease, just to communicate as much as I'm allowed to. At some point, you're going to go, "now I understand what Ken meant!"

Its getting close now! I've not had any invites to any presentations yet but have accepted the one to the UG meeting (hint). I'd be really interested to see more of what is being worked on.

Thanks Ken... Now, you have setup all the AE's for one of the 2 following options for Siggraph:
1) we get tortured to talk
2) we get people to get us drunk to talk
Of course, I prefer option 2... But rest assured, we won't be revealing anything of the conversations from last week... I just wanted to say that Ken is absolutely right. All of us were very excited about what we saw in Montreal last week. We live in exciting times for 3ds max.

When I worked for Autodesk, I used to be one of those AE's (before I went to Blizzard then Blur then On my own). So from what you have said my expectations are VERY high.

Let me say this, as someone who has been using 3d Studio since DOS 1.0, if Autodesk lets us down again in favor of Maya I am sure I will not be the only one looking to move to another package.

Live up to the hype, please. Max is the best all around package out there. I just wish Autodesk could see that.

No one can live up to the hype and meet the expectations of everyone, but, we can deliver a roadmap that addresses long standing concerns. It's not like this can all be achieved in a single concentrated effort. It's a journey, and there are some exciting and unexpected places we'll be taking you to. We may not reach your favorite destination on the first leg of the trip, but we may take you to some interesting places that you didn't expect before we get to your favorite destination. Join us. You won't regret it.

I'm hearing you Ken. And Since there is not much time to wait I am not going to turn this into a shooting match.

As far as Joining you....

....I have been here the whole time.
