Wasn't bad at all. It seems you got the main concerns of users right as well as many of our wishes and expectations possibly fulfilled.

Could this be possible?
It sounds awesome but after my enthusiasm subsided and thoughts settled down it seems to me like a lot of changes to be performed in a short time. And since you are concerned about not alienating the userbase as you mentioned, it would be quite difficult with so many radical changes. If what was described is not meant to be done in short time then that means we are looking to a development horizon of .. 2-4 years? That is a bit too long to wait for a "revolution" is it not?

If yes that would mean that we should perhaps expect the launch of a completely different application (like Softimage became Softimage XSI) by the end of the year or mid next year?

Ken - awesome! Really excited about the interoperability between things. We currently use both Maya and Max and hopping back and forth is always a struggle. Even down to trying to remember hot keys between - ACA,Revit,Max and Maya I have nightmares. Thanks for the glimpse into your ideas glad it is right where i was hoping!

I had to take care of my baby daughter and completely missed the 9am webinar. The other two will be a 2 and 5 at night here in Oslo, so I will miss those too. Is there any way I can get a replay? Been looking forward to this for over a week, and I feel completely bummed out now!

re: meshbase
I love talking to people (I've been known to show up on a forum or two). I just died trying to respond with a UI that simply wasn't usable due to the lags.

@ Ken : Quote "..- that wasn't much fun for me."
Yeah... that's different like all the customer company shows... Today you were thrown into the arena of hoi polloi.. the common crowd! :)

However we were all glad you showed up!
Thanks

Sorry if I offended anyone - but the UI would allow me to barely type and it took seconds for a "return" to register. We should definitely hold questions until the end - that wasn't much fun for me.

Yep...very informative...best part was "Ken's mind" shutting down. I have to admire your persistence answering the questions for details.. "when" and "what" and "how".
The anoying part was, that all these useless question made it difficult and almost impossible for the participants of the webinar to follow the chat. The scrolling on the left side was awesome.

I would propose to not allow question during the show and just enable them during Q & A. Collect the good questions and publish them and the answers here in the blog.

;)

That was a very informative presentation! I'm glad to see such enthusiasm, not only from the users but also from the developers as well!

I think they've got a bit swamped in a down pour of questions there and were typing very fast to answer as much as possible...

Not everyone is a Max geek - I came in late to the session and read on the chat screen that one might want to upgrade their video card. I did not get the full answer and asked this question and got a VERY rude response. It would not have taken but a second to answer it - instead of a rude response. I think that no matter what level you are in using Max - there should be some respect for the novice people. We are only trying to learn!

Oh, I didn't notice that the question about recording was already answered. Sorry

I wish I could see it. January 27th is busy for me, I can't make those times unfortunately. I'm joining to antimatt3r's post. Will it be recorded?
