SP2 is missing Node Editor and Alembic plugins.
I guess this versionning confuses many of us. I'm wondering if Maya 2012 SAP (released October 2011 something like that..) is containing all stability updates of SP2 (released Now) ??

The naming convention is confusing, Cory.
Hopefully the 'SP' numbers are aligned for the next release...

I can't seem to find the new Node Editor in the latest SP2. It should be under Windows --> Node Editor , right?
Has it been removed or merged into something else?
