VOX Amps Up New Designs with Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Showcase Software

This is a nice example how 3D visualization with Showcase helped VOX to quickly refine and finalize aesthetic decisions, before physical prototypes were built.
VOX used Autodesk Inventor and Autodesk Showcase software to design the newly released AC30C2, AC15C1, AC15VR and AC30VR guitar amplifiers.

Thanks Gary,
I totally agree, this is a great product and you will see more cool stuff finding its way into the software.

We just started this blog and the forum within "The Area", just after Showcase went into the Visual Communication Group within Autodesk. It had been in the MFG group before and we did this exactely for the reason you described. It is not only engineering.

Give the forum a little bit time and the people a chance to discover it. Most of them are still active in the "old" one in the design community:

Hope this helps.

I speak as one who has been involved in 3d cad/vizualization technolgies since 1984, (i.e. McDonnell Douglas GDS, (BDS-"Revit")) This is an incredible vizualization product for all industries, not just manufacturing. Why do I not find much, if any activity on this blog? Is this a product that has technology that will only be absorbed by other Autodesk products and not stand on it's own?
I have tried to embrace this product since I discovered it. I have coveted Alias tech since 1984 Siggraph and Silicon Graphics days, but there seems to be a major lack of interest, or steerage or something here.
I want to master Showcase but find an incredible lack of resources or expertise Locally or online.
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
